Railway Stations B » Bray

Bray station first opened in 1854. The new 1927 platform is on the down side and has a class covered canopy and a mural showing the history of the railway at Bray. Bray was also the first terminus for the DART when they began operating in 1984. The first concern at Bray was to photograph and film the 071 hauled Rosslare train prior to railcars taking over the service. The newer photographs were taken on the IRRS tour to Rosslare Harbour, which featured 141 class locos 144+147.
