Castlebellingham Station, Co.Louth, is located south of Dundalk on the main Dublin to Belfast line and served the village of the same name some distance to the east near the coast. The station, now adjacent to the M1 motorway, opened in 1855 and closed in 1976. The station buildings, which consisted of the main station building, covered Great Northern style footbridge, waiting room and signal were all demolished shortly after. Only the bare up & down platforms and station forecourt remain. These pictures are somewhat low quality, I'll have to return to get some better ones of the station.
