Railway Stations C » Castlecaldwell

Apologies- whilst exploring the GNR's Bundoran branch on the Irish North West lines, I somehow missed Castlecaldwell Station, Co.Fermanagh, which was located right on the main road and is clearly visible. I'll have to come back and get some shots of it, for the moment here are two present day images of a castelled rail overbridge just west of the station, at the entrance to Castle Caldwell itself. Included is a picture of the station in the 1940s/early 50s courtesy of Wilson Adams. The Irish North West lines, which included that to Bundoran were all unfortunately closed in 1957-the worst year in Irish railway history.
