Withdrawn in 1983, E428 ran with Co.Galway's 'Westrail' trains at Tuam in the early 1990s until that organisation was disbanded. Seen in 2002 at Inchicore, E428 now happily resides on the former Loughrea branch at Dunsandle Station, Co.Galway.
